Day One Trauma Support is the only charity supporting major trauma patients and their families in the UK, regardless of injury type or location. Created by patients for patients, we provide practical and emotional support so people can rebuild their lives and look forward to the future.

Peer support from someone who has been through a similar experience. Talking can help you feel less anxious about the road ahead.

We work in partnership with NHS trusts by providing caseworkers in Major Trauma Centres so we can be by the side of patients and their families from day one. Our national support offer also means we are available to anyone affected by major trauma, whenever and wherever they need us.
