We are a team of healthcare professionals who work in Major Trauma at Aintree MTC.

We care so much for our patients & service that we are planning to run a 150km relay race (virtual this year) from Liverpool to Leeds on 31st July 2021. This is to be a Virtual Race now due to the current times we are in.

i am leading this team of happy runners going the extra mile on this special occasion to mark our linking with Day One Leeds.

On the same day (Sat 31st July 2021) i will be leading a small team of cyclists who will cycle 100 miles each (1/2 way to Leeds & back) IN REAL LIFE to meet with a team from Leeds who will do the same. It will be a BIG DAY for Day One & our patients!

It will be a momentous day if we can pull it off!

This is to raise awareness & funds for our new DayOneAintree Trauma Support Service to help our patients & families get through the difficult journey ahead  following sustaining Major Trauma.

We have the ethos of Day One - One Voice, One Vision, One Mission!!

Please support us to get through this tough challenge & enhance our Major Trauma Service at Aintree. We cannot do this without you!!
